Zithromax is a widely used medication that helps in the treatment of various types of bacterial infections in the body. It also treats sexually transmitted vaginal or urinary tract infections caused by Chlamydia. But you must remember that Zithromax works by affecting the growth of bacteria and therefore is helpful in the treatment of bacterial infections only. It won’t cause any benefit if it is used for the treatment of colds, flu, or other virus infections.
